Every flashcard in Revisionary is tagged to a single GCSE or A-Level specification. Pick AQA at signup and that's the only content you ever see. Switch a student to Edexcel and the deck quietly changes underneath them.
It sounds obvious. Most revision platforms don't do it — they average the boards together, or show you a huge deck and let you filter. Both leave students revising things their paper won't test.
What that means in practice
- Topics your board has dropped simply aren't in your deck.
- Where two boards phrase the same idea differently, you see your board's wording.
- Required practicals, formulae and command words are board-specific.
It's one of the smallest design decisions in the app, and one of the biggest reasons students tell us they stopped second-guessing their revision.
