These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Revisionary platform ("Service") operated by Revisionary Ltd ("we", "us", "our").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are under 18, your parent or guardian must also agree. If you are a teacher or school administrator signing up on behalf of students, you are responsible for ensuring students use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

Revisionary is an AI-powered revision platform for UK GCSE and A-Level students. It includes flashcards, exam paper generation, quiz games, progress tracking, and related tools.
We may update, improve, or change features of the Service at any time. We'll let you know about significant changes that affect how you use it.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.
You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users under 13 require verifiable parental consent or must access the Service through a school that has accepted these Terms on their behalf.
One account per person. You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, without notice where the violation is serious.
Free tier: A free tier is available with limited features. No payment is required.
Paid plans: Paid subscriptions (Student, Student+, School) are billed in advance for the period selected (monthly or annual). Prices are displayed inclusive of any applicable taxes.
Payment processing: Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
School invoicing: Schools may request invoice payment by contacting schools@revisionary.co.uk. Payment terms are 30 days from invoice date.
Price changes: We will give at least 30 days' notice of any price increases, which will apply from your next renewal date.
Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access until then.
Refunds: We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new subscriptions. If you are not satisfied within the first 14 days of a paid plan, contact support@revisionary.co.uk for a full refund. After 14 days, refunds are at our discretion.
Annual plans: Annual subscriptions cancelled after 14 days will not receive a pro-rata refund for unused months, unless required by law.
Your statutory rights as a UK consumer are not affected by this policy.
Our content: The Revisionary platform, its design, software, and AI-generated content are owned by or licensed to Revisionary Ltd. You may use the Service for your personal revision — you may not copy, distribute, or commercially exploit our content without our written permission.
Your content: You retain ownership of any content you submit (e.g. notes, answers). By submitting content, you grant us a limited licence to process it to provide the Service.
AI-generated content: Answers, feedback, and questions generated by our AI are provided for educational purposes. You should verify important information independently. We do not guarantee accuracy.
If you are a teacher or school administrator, by accepting these Terms you confirm you have authority to bind your school or institution, and that you will:

The Service is provided "as is" for educational purposes. While we work hard to ensure accuracy, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors. Always verify important information with your teacher or official specification materials.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Revisionary Ltd shall not be liable for:
Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by English law.
Your statutory rights as a UK consumer are not affected.
You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, or if we are required to do so by law. We will give reasonable notice except where the breach is serious (e.g. illegal activity).
On termination, your right to use the Service ends. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts, except that if you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will give at least 30 days' notice of material changes by email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after that period constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
